Louis Vuitton's new sunglasses deck some very familiar faces.
How do you get people to notice your sunglasses?
a) Have Marc Jacobs design them.
b) Have a team of international craftsmen behind them.
c) Have a horde of It Girls model them.
d) Have the coolest place in New York stash them.
And if you're Louis Vuitton, you surrender and do all four. Their latest collection of shades were photographed at the so-cool-it-kills Standard Hotel, where Courtney Love will perform on New Years and we'll all probably die of champagne and screaming.
Instead of models, LV chose to shoot their new collection on a slew of It Girls you've seen in NYLON, including designer Chrissie Miller, and actresses Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Isabelle McNally, and Josephine De La Baume. The cast was culled by graffiti artist and nightclub king Andre Saraiva, who lures cool kids to dance floors like it's his job... which actually, it is.
You can get your hands on the shades in March 2010, unless you find a stray pair in a Boom Boom banquet or the Hotel Costes bathroom - totally possible, knowing these girls.
